I really liked the look of this product as well as the design. It is very easy to set up. However, there are two cons: (1) the highest volume setting is not very loud, however I live in a 2000 sq. ft. house with an open layout. I have it placed in the middle of the house and if I am in my bedroom, which is on one end of the house, it's barely audible. (2) it doesn't have a plug-in option; it uses 3 AA batteries, so there's something else that I have to re-place. With all of that being said, I still would buy it again; it looks great and you can't beat the price!

After only 3 months of purchasing our house, the old doorbell (a wireless unit) stopped working. I installed new batteries but it was still not functioning. I searched online and found this model on Amazon. The bad reviews on the range did make me hesitant since our doorbell must penetrate brick and reach the chime some 30 feet away.br / The instructions and installation are a breeze. The unit works great and can get loud enough to be heard throughout the house.
